    Brief introduction:

    KZW-A Automatic variable load adjusting device can automatically sensing and continuously adjusting the brake cylinder’s pressure according to the varied loads of railway freight wagons. So it can effectively improve the braking performance of the railway vehicle, greatly reduce the change range of braking rate under different load conditions from empty to loaded, and make the braking rate of each vehicle of train marshal relatively uniform.


    KZW-A automatic variable load adjusting device consists of two parts: weighing mechanism and pressure limiting valve assembly. The weight measuring mechanism is composed of a sensor and a suppression plate. There are two kinds of sensors: one kind is a C-A sensing valve, whose contact rod’s maximum stroke is 21 mm, and another kind’s maximum stroke is 27 mm. The pressure limiting valve consists of a pressure limiting valve and a pipe seat.

    How it works?

    With the changes of freight car’s loads, the bogie spring’s deflection also changes accordingly. The sensor of the load adjustment device is installed on the bogie and the regulating springs could sense the load variation. The working principal is that the air pressure of the pressure reducing air cylinder plus the pressure of the regulating spring is balanced with the pressure of the brake cylinder. Then it distributes the pressure air of the pressure reducing air cylinder and the brake cylinder according to the pressure of the regulating spring, so as to realize automatic adjusting brake cylinder’s pressure. According to its function, there shows three functions: braking, release and status display.
